Mizoram Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh has announced the imposition of Governor's Rule in the
Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) for a period of six months.
This decision, backed by constitutional powers under the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, comes as a response to persistent leadership changes and maladministration that have disrupted effective governance in the region.
