Hyderabad, Dec. 4 -- The last date to submit nominations for the Governor's Awards for Excellence, 2025, has been extended to December 15 (1700 hours) for both online and offline entries.
The awards recognise individuals and institutions, organisations, societies and trusts for exemplary work carried out over the last five years (2020-2025) in four fields - women empowerment, tribal development, rural health & medical philanthropy, and corporate volunteering.
There are two categories in each field: Individuals and Institutions/Organisations/Societies/Trusts. Each award carries a cash prize of Rs 2,00,000 and a citation. Awardees will be honoured by the Governor of Telangana on Republic Day, 26 January 2 2026.
