Imphal, Oct. 18 -- Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, today visited Noney district headquarters and reviewed the ongoing railway projects along with the overall development and administrative activities in the district. Upon his arrival, the Governor was received by the Deputy Commissioner. During the visit, he inspected the world's highest railway pier bridge being constructed over the Ijei River at Noney and was briefed by railway engineers on the progress of the project, which is nearing completion. The Governor also inspected stalls set up by various departments showcasing agricultural, horticultural, and handcrafted products.
