Imphal, Nov. 26 -- Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on Wednesday graced the observance of Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) at the Palace Auditorium of the Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Palace Compound, here.
The programme, held under the theme "Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhiman," commemorated the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949.
As part of the ceremony, the Governor led the gathering in reading the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming the core values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
