Aizawl, Dec. 12 -- The Durbar Hall of Lok Bhavan in Aizawl turned into a confluence of cultures on Thursday as Mizoram Governor Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh and First Lady Bharti Singh joined residents of Assam, Nagaland and Mizoram to mark the Foundation Day of the two neighbouring states. The event formed part of the 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' (EBSB) initiative, which has been a regular feature at Raj Bhavan since mid-2023.
Opening the celebration, Gen. Singh extended greetings to the people of Assam and Nagaland and reflected on their shared cultural threads with Mizoram.
