Hyderabad, July 5 -- The Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, graced the Medical Excellence Awards - 2025 as the Chief Guest, held at Samskruthi, Raj Bhavan Community Hall, Hyderabad.
The event was organised by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Hyderabad District Branch, to mark National Doctor's Day.
In his keynote address, the Governor paid rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr B C Roy, recalling his legacy of compassionate, ethical, and community-centric healthcare.
Applauding the tireless service of doctors across Telangana, he remarked that "the greatest reward for a doctor lies in selfless service to humanity, beyond awards or recognition."
