Ranchi, Dec. 26 -- : Jharkhand Governor and Chancellor of state universities Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Friday said that the true purpose of education lies beyond individual progress and must include the fulfilment of social responsibility.
Addressing the second convocation ceremony of Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University at Dhanbad, the Governor congratulated students who received their degrees and called upon them to actively contribute to society. He urged graduates to take responsibility for the education of at least one child, describing it as a meaningful step towards reducing illiteracy and strengthening social equity.
