Panaji, Jan. 15 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Chief Secretary Parimal Rai, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Subhash Chandra and Chief Wildlife Warden Santosh Kumar visited Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday and briefed him about the issue related to recent tiger deaths in the state.
According to a statement here, the Governor was informed of the decision taken to provide succor in the form of ex-gratia relief to those persons who had lost their livestock due to tiger attack.
The Governor was also informed that it had been decided to develop a protocol to provide instant relief to the affected persons for the damages due to wild life attack.
