Kolkata, Dec. 11 -- West Bengal Governor C.V. Ananda Bose has formally initiated the process to shift his voter registration from Kerala to West Bengal, declaring that he wishes to become the "adopted son" of the state.
According to Election Commission sources, the Governor was handed Form-8-the applicationfor transfer of electoral address-on Thursday by the Booth Level Officer (BLO) and the BLO supervisor. Once he submits the required documents, his name will be added to West Bengal's electoral roll.
Bose, a resident of Kottayam in Kerala, has long maintained strong cultural and emotional ties with Bengal.
