Kolkata, Sept. 10 -- West Bengal Governor Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose today said that the Ministry of External Affairs will take necessary measures to facilitate the safe return of Indian nationals stranded in Nepal amid the ongoing unrest.
"As part of my routine visits to international borders, I came here to assess the situation following the disturbances in Nepal. I will submit my observations and report to the appropriate authorities," Bose told reporters during his visit.
According to sources, the Governor made an unscheduled trip to the Indo-Nepal border at Panitanki near Siliguri in the morning.
