Imphal, Jan. 14 -- Soubam Ibopishak Singh was sworn in as the Chairman of Manipur Electricity Regulatory Commission (MnREC) on Tuesday.
Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, administered the oath of office to Soubam Ibopishak Singh in the Swearing-in Ceremony held at the Darbar Hall of Lok Bhavan, Imphal.
Soubam Ibopishak Singh, popularly known as S. Singh, is an alumnus of Sainik School, Imphal. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the erstwhile Madhav Rao Scindia College of Technology, Bhopal, now known as the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, and also holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from Sikkim Manipal University.
