Ranchi, Jan. 30 -- On the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatama Gandhi, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Governor of Jharkhand, paid floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Vatika, Morabadi, Ranchi, on Friday.
On the occasion, the Governor also listened to Gandhiji's favourite bhajans performed at the memorial site.
The Governor said that Mahatma Gandhi's principles remain as relevant today as ever and will continue to guide humanity in the future. He emphasised that Gandhiji's message of truth, non-violence and cleanliness is extremely important for the holistic development of society.
