New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has said that Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, made baseless allegations against a Minister in the House, and therefore the government has decided to bring a breach of privilege motion against him.
Speaking to reporters in the Parliament complex on Wednesday, Rijiju said that Gandhi made serious allegations against Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in the House without prior notice. This is a serious breach of privilege. The matter will be reported to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
