Srinagar, Feb. 22 -- J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday assured a delegation of the Pahari Community of the government's commitment
to empower tribal communities.
The Lt Governor gave the assurance when a 160-member delegation of the Pahari Community from the Kashmir division called on him at Raj Bhawan, Srinagar.

"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government is committed to the empowerment of tribal communities. It is a new era of progress, prosperity, stability, and hope for the tribal population of the Union Territory," the Lt Governor said.
