Brisbane, Feb. 16 -- Australian teenage sprint sensation Gout Gout continues to push boundaries on the track, this time setting his sights on the 400m distance, and American sprint star Noah Lyles.
The 17-year-old speedster clocked a swift 46.20 seconds in Brisbane on Saturday, a mark that betters Lyles' only recorded 400m time of 47.04s, set in 2016. Though Lyles has dominated the shorter sprints, Gout's performance signals his growing versatility and intent to challenge the sport's elite.
