Hubballi, Feb. 28 -- Uncertainty over participation turned into a historic performance as Jammu and Kashmir batsman Qamran Iqbal produced a match-defining century in the final, overcoming injury concerns just 24 hours before the match, while drawing inspiration from his early cricketing journey alongside India international Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Qamran's participation in the final was uncertain after he sustained a minor injury a day before the match. However, displaying remarkable determination, he remained mentally ready for the big occasion.
He received a call around 3 PM and immediately travelled from Srinagar to the match venue, boarding an evening flight and reaching by around 8 PM to join his teammates for the crucial final.
