Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 10 -- The historic 2nd Battalion of The Madras Regiment, proudly known as the "Goondas Battalion," will celebrate its 250th Raising Day at the Pangode Military Station here on December 13.
The landmark occasion is expected to draw nearly 3,000 participants, including senior Army officers, serving personnel, veterans, and family members.
The celebrations will feature cultural and artistic performances, a Sainik Sammelan, wreath-laying ceremonies, and a series of events honouring the unit's long and distinguished journey.
