Vijayawada/New Delhi, Oct. 14 -- union Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar on Tuesday stated the upcoming 1-GW hyperscale Google Data Centre in Visakhapatnam is expected to generate about Rs 10,000 crore in revenue for Andhra Pradesh.

The minister described the project as a defining milestone in Andhra Pradesh's journey of progress and self-reliance. He said the investment of about $15 billion over five years (2026-2030) will create at least 5,000 direct jobs and 20,000-30,000 total jobs in the state.
