Jaipur, Oct. 8 -- More than 35 wagons of a Rewari-bound goods train derailed near the New Srimadhopur railway station in the Sikar district of Rajasthan on Wednesday morning,marking the second train mishap in the state within two days.
According to GRP sources, the train from Phulera junction, 60 kms from Jaipur, was heading to Rewari in Haryana when all its three dozen wagons derailed blocking the busy rail route.
While no casualty has been reported in the incident, the schedule of a number of trains was disrupted with some trains being forced to divert to alternative routes and others running late.
Teams of railway technical staff have started working to clear the tracks.
