Nashik, Aug. 8 -- Central Railway services toward Chalisgaon were suspended this morning after a goods train coach derailed near Nandgaon in Maharashtra's Nashik district.

The disruption occurred when the freight train shifted from the main line to a loop line, causing one coach to jump the tracks.

A Central Railway spokesperson confirmed the incident halted all goods train movement and multiple passenger express services on this critical route.

The Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani Express was among trains temporarily stranded on the Manmad-Nandgaon-Chalisgaon section.
