Gondhla, Feb. 11 -- Himachal experienced largely dry weather during the past 24 hours, though Gondla in Lahaul and Spiti recorded a trace of snowfall, signalling that winter conditions continue to persist in the higher reaches.

No significant rainfall was reported anywhere in the state, the Meteorological Centre, Shimla, said in its morning bulletin.

Day temperatures registered a noticeable rise, making the weather pleasant in most parts of the state. Maximum temperatures at many stations were above normal by two to four degrees Celsius. Neri recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 26.8 C.
