Kinshasa, Jan. 31 -- Goma hospitals in the Democratic Republic of Congo are overwhelmed, the World Health Organisation (WHO) said, adding that at least 2,029 injured people were admitted to health care facilities in North Kivu.

In addition, 45 deaths were also confirmed as a result of clashes, the organisation said on Thursday. WHO added that the risk of smallpox, cholera and measles has increased due to the forced displacement of people.
