Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 6 -- The Kerala Legislative Assembly witnessed unprecedented scenes today as the Opposition Congress-led UDF members stormed the House over the alleged disappearance of gold sheets offered to Lord Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala.
The protest, marked by slogans, banners, and walkouts, led to the suspension of the Question Hour and temporary adjournment of the session.
Opposition MLAs entered the Assembly hall holding banners that read "Ayyappan's gold looted", demanding the resignation of the Devaswom Minister and the President of Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB).
