Jerusalem, March 25 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to start his two-day visit to Washington on Monday to meet US President Donald Trump at the White House just a few days after Trump's controversial remarks about the disputed Golan Heights, local media reported.
On the first day of the visit, the two leaders are expected to hold a working meeting and discuss issues of common interest and the situation in the Middle East. The Golan Heights issue is expected to be on the agenda of the talks, along with security and intelligence cooperation between Israel and the United States, the situation in Syria and pressure on Iran.
