Kolhapur, Jan. 23 -- The State Excise Department (SED), Kolhapur division, seized Goa-made foreign liquor and a truck worth a total of Rs 1.15 crore at Anuskura village in Shahuwadi tehsil of the district.
According to a press release, acting on a tip-off, the Bharari Squad of the SED laid a trap at the Anuskura Ghat section and intercepted a suspicious truck. During a search of the vehicle, officials recovered 160 boxes of Goa-made foreign liquor.
