Panaji, March 23 -- Aam Adami Party (AAP) in Goa alleged that State Government was not serious about improving education sector in the state and it was evident from the fact that Ministry of Education was not even mentioned in the notification allocating portfolios to various ministers.

Addressing a press conference in the city AAP leader Valmiki Naik said, ''The state of the public education system in Goa can only be described as sorry. It was expected that the government place this sector on a high priority.
