Panaji, Aug. 24 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will attend funeral of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Union Minister Arun Jaitley who passed away on Saturday.
''CM to leave Delhi tonight to attend former Union Minister Shri Arun Jaitley funeral which is scheduled tomorrow,'' an official of Department of Information and Publicity said.
The former union minister passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He was 66. He was admitted in the AIIMS on August 9, 2019, and was being treated by a multidisciplinary team of senior doctors.
