Chennai, Aug. 5 -- The second day of the ASF Asian Surfing Championships 2025 today
brought to the fore the powerful display of athleticism and spirit to the shores of Tamil Nadu, at Mahabalipuram as the Open Women Round-1 and U18 Girls Round-1 division took center stage.
With the Indian Ocean offering up challenging conditions, the day was a testament to the growing strength and presence of women in the sport of surfing.
Women surfers showed that the future of competitive surfing is increasingly female. Carving clean lines, executing powerful turns, and navigating tricky sets, these athletes highlighted how women's surfing in Asia and around the world is gaining momentum like never before.
