Geneva, Nov. 23 -- A global conference on tobacco control concluded here Saturday with a series of critical decisions adopted.

Key decisions during the Eleventh Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP11), under the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC), were reached on tobacco control and the environment.

The six-day meeting focused on the protection against tobacco's environmental and health harms, including waste management for tobacco, nicotine products and electronic devices.
