Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 31 -- The declaration of the Spice Routes Heritage Network and the presentation of its Charter will be the highlight of a three-day International Spice Routes Conference, scheduled to be held in Kochi from January 6 to 8, 2026.
The conclave will focus on the shared maritime and cultural heritage of the historic Spice Route and its continuing relevance in the global narrative.
Organised by the Muziris Heritage Project in collaboration with the Kerala Tourism Department, the conference will be hosted at the historic Bolgatty Palace, Ernakulam, a venue deeply connected to centuries of maritime trade and cultural exchange.
