Kochi, May 16 -- The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) will host the fourth International Symposium on Marine Ecosystems: Challenges and Opportunities (MECOS 4) here on November 4-6, 2025.
Organised by the Marine Biological Association of India (MBAI) in association with CMFRI, the symposium will specially focus on research and collaborative works on climate change amid a series of emerging threats to the marine ecosystems, including rising sea temperatures and extreme weather events.
The three-day event will bring together a global community of marine scientists, researchers, policymakers and industry experts to address the mounting challenges facing the marine fisheries and aquaculture.
