Los Angeles, Jan. 16 -- Glen Powell is in advanced talks to take the lead in "Tesseract", an original science-fiction feature to be written and directed by Sam Esmail.
The project further cements Powell's status as one of Hollywood's most in-demand leading men while marking another ambitious genre outing for Esmail, reports DEADLINE.
The project is being produced by United Artists ' Scott Stuber and Nick Nesbitt, alongside Esmail and Chad Hamilton under the Esmail Corp banner. Powell himself, through Barnstorm, is also in discussions to produce the film with partner Dan Cohen.
