Shimla, Jan. 28 -- An overnight avalanche triggered by a glacier collapse in Bharmour has buried vehicles and shops, even as large parts of neighbouring Lahaul and Spiti remain isolated due to widespread road closures, according to official reports.
In a rare and terrifying incident, a massive glacier collapsed after midnight in Aut Nala, located within the Pulan Panchayat of Bharmour, triggering an avalanche.
The Avalanche buried two loaded pick-up bearing numbers HP-38F-7066 and HP-73-8462 parked for the night, sweeping them into a deep ravine where they remain untraceable.
