Mumbai, June 24 -- Student safety must be prioritised without delay, said Dr Priyanka Narnaware,
additional commissioner of police (Traffic), Mumbai on Tuesday while addressing a meeting with principals from schools across the city to discuss the annual safety inspection of school transport vehicles.
In a significant step toward enhancing students' safety, a meeting was held at the Traffic Headquarters in Worli area of city. The primary agenda of the meeting was to ensure stringent safety standards for all vehicles transporting schoolchildren.
