Hyderabad, July 3 -- GITAM Deemed to be University has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Army, strengthening its commitment to nation-building through education and research.
The five-year agreement, effective from the 2025-26 to 2029-30 academic years, was formalized in a ceremony held at GITAM Hyderabad campus.
The MoU was signed by Brigadier T M Sinha on behalf of the Indian Army and Prof D S Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor of GITAM-Hyderabad, in the presence of Prof V Rama Sastry, Director of the School of Technology and Dean (Core Engineering), and Prof P Srinivas, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, a statement said on Thursday.
