Aizawl, May 6 -- The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination in Mizoram for the year 2025 witnessed an overall pass percentage of 81.10%, marking a notable rise from last year's 78.04%, according to the results declared by the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) on Tuesday.

Girls emerged as clear academic frontrunners, topping all three major streams-Arts, Science, and Commerce. Out of 12,105 students (5,499 boys and 6,529 girls) who appeared for the examination, a total of 9,817 students successfully cleared it. This includes 4,391 boys and 5,426 girls.
