Prayagraj, April 23 -- Girls have again outshone the boys in the High School and Intermediate Board exams conducted by Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education.

Around 90.42 per cent of the students passed in high school, while 80.38 per cent of the candidates passed in intermediate Board exams , which were announxed today at 4 PM by UP Board Chairman Dr Mahendra Dev and Secretary Bhagwati Singh.

In high school (class 10 Board) the pass percentage for boys was 87.30 per cent and for girls it was 93.76 per cent while in Intermediate (class 12 Board), the pass percentage for boys was 75.04 per cent and for girls it was 86.32 per cent.
