Hyderabad, Dec. 1 -- A policy recommendation document and report on gig work was submitted to Labour Minister Vivek Venkataswamy on Monday by CR Foundation General Secretary and former MLA Palla Venkat Reddy, CPI MLC Nellikanti Satyam, and Neelam Rajasekhar Reddy Research Centre Director T. Suresh Babu at the Minister's residence in Somajiguda.
The Neelam Rajasekhar Reddy Research Centre recently organised India's first seminar focused exclusively on the gig economy. The conference brought together researchers, legal experts and worker representatives to deliberate on issues relating to platform-based labour.
