London, July 27 -- Nottingham Forest has received a major boost ahead of the forthcoming Premier League season with the news that England midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has signed
a new three-year contract.
The 25-year-old has signed the deal to end speculation over his future after it had looked as if Tottenham Hotspur was looking to sign him by paying his 60 million pounds (80 million U.S. dollars) buyout clause.
Gibbs-White has scored 18 goals and given 28 assists since joining Forest from Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2022, and he was one of the key factors in the club's seventh-place finish
in the Premier League last season to qualify for Europe.
