Hyderabad, Jan. 8 -- The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has announced the continuation of its One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme 2025-26, offering major relief to property tax defaulters by providing a 90 per cent waiver on accumulated interest on arrears.
Under the scheme, property owners can regularise long-pending dues by paying the full principal tax amount along with just 10 per cent of the accrued interest in a single payment. The remaining 90 per cent of the interest will be waived, significantly reducing the financial burden on taxpayers and encouraging voluntary compliance.
