Accra, Jan. 16 -- Ghana's women's national team has been drawn into Group D of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, following the final draw held Thursday in Rabat, Morocco.
The Black Queens will face Cameroon, Mali, and Cape Verde in the group stage.
Ghana Football Association president Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku said the team's recent performances have prepared them for the challenge.
"The Black Queens should be able to play against any side on the African continent if you want to become a champion," Simeon-Okraku said after the draw.
