Kakinada, Jan. 13 -- Contract sanitation workers in government general hospital (GGH) staged a demonstration in front of the hospital maternity block here on Saturday, protesting against the deduction of PF and ESI subscriptions from the management's share of the workers' salaries, much against the rules.
They raised slogans demanding the stoppage of the deduction of PF and ESI subscriptions from the workers' salaries without further delay.
Union President Ch Vijaya Kumar, while addressing the workers, said that the officers and contract agency were testing their patience and asked the workers to prepare for intensified agitation.
