German vice chancellor urges solution to EU-US trade dispute
Berlin, May 26 -- German Vice Chancellor and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil has called for a solution to the trade dispute between the European Union (EU) and the United States, calling it a shared interest for both sides.
In an interview with German public broadcaster ARD on Sunday, Klingbeil noted that negotiations are currently at a crucial stage. "We should not allow ourselves to be provoked," he said, stressing the importance of pursuing a collaborative solution that benefits both the EU and the US.
