Bengaluru, May 10 -- A major security scare unfolded in Bengaluru on Sunday after two gelatin sticks were found barely three kilometres from the venue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's high-profile programme at the Art of Living International Centre, triggering an immediate security alert and a massive police response.

The explosive materials were recovered near a roadside footpath during intensive anti-sabotage checks conducted ahead of the Prime Minister's arrival, police officials said.
