Patna, Oct. 31 -- Former Rajasthan chief minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot today launched a blistering attack on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), calling its manifesto released for the Bihar Assembly elections "a bundle of lies", "an insult to democracy," and "26 seconds photo shoot drama".
Addressing a press conference here, he expressed disbelief that the NDA's manifesto, Sankalp Patra 2025, was released in just 26 seconds, after which the press conference abruptly ended. Gehlot said he was told that this was the shortest press conference of the lives of media persons. "They came, showed their faces, and left, clearly afraid of the media," he said sarcastically.
