Jaipur, Aug. 8 -- Defending Rahul Gandhi on his stance on alleged vote theft, former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot has deplored as absurd the Election Commission of India's demand that Gandhi should make statements under oath. The senior Congress leader also expressed serious concern on "loss of credibility" of the commission in the wake of certain actions by it including one "getting state-level" election commissions to issue responses to Gandhi in the matter in reference.
