Gayaji, Jan. 8 -- Panic prevailed today at the Gayaji Civil Court following a bomb threat received through email after which the premises was evacuated and the court proceedings were immediately suspended as a precautionary measure.
After receiving information about the threat, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anand Kumar, City SP Ramanand Kumar Kaushal, DSPs and several senior police officers rushed to the spot. The entire court campus was evacuated, and a heavy police force was deployed. The bomb disposal squad and dog squad were also pressed into service to search for explosives across the premises.
