Guwahati, Feb. 9 -- Reacting to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's allegation about his alleged links with Pakistan, Assam Congress Chief Gaurav Gogoi said on Monday that the details of his visit to Pakistan were already with the Central government and that the Chief Minister had failed to give any proof that he (Gaurav Gogoi) is a Pakistani agent as alleged by the Chief Minister.
"When I became a Lok Sabha MP in 2014, I submitted my passport to the central government as I became eligible for a diplomatic passport. So all the data regarding my visit to Pakistan was available with the government of India since 2014," he said.
