Hyderabad, July 27 -- The city police have busted a Ganja smuggling racket by arresting four persons.
Police seized 4.5 kg of dry ganja and three mobile phones, all valued at Rs 2.24 lakh, from their possession.
Based on credible information, Musheerabad police apprehended CP Shekhar Suman (30), an event organiser; Kaleru Vihan (22), a B.Tech final-year student; Vuddadi Sai Vilash (34), a private employee; and Ch. Santosh (22), a delivery boy when they were selling Ganja.
Two others involved in the smuggling network - Vinod and Srinivas, both residents of Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh - are currently absconding, police said in a statement on Sunday.
