Gangtok, Aug. 14 -- Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang today announced a series of big urban projects aimed at changing the face of Gangtok and making it a model city for the future.
Speaking after a detailed review meeting here, the chief minister said the discussions were focused on three major developments - a Public Utility Centre at MG Marg, the Ridge Park Development Project, and a Proposed Cable Car System for Gangtok.
The meeting was attended by Urban Development Minister Bhoj Raj Rai, Chief Secretary R. Telang, heads of departments, senior officials, and other key stakeholders.
